You can quickly whip up these one bowl recipes without any hassle, plus we’ve snuck in some healthy ingredients like moringa, that add nutrients but don’t affect the taste! ONE BOWL CHOCOLATE CAKE

Are you craving a decadent and moist chocolate cake? This one bowl chocolate cake recipe is super yummy and very easy to make. You can also enjoy this one bowl chocolate cake guilt-free as it is packed with healthy ingredients. It uses whole-wheat pastry flour that has more fiber, protein and antioxidants than refined flour. This one bowl chocolate cake also includes moringa powder, which has numerous health benefits.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup whole-wheat pastry flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon moringa powder
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup nonfat buttermilk
  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup hot strong black coffee

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350º F. Prepare a 9-inch cake pan by spraying with baking spray or buttering and lightly flouring.
  2. Whisk all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. This includes flour, granulated sugar, cocoa, moringa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  3. Add buttermilk, brown sugar, egg, oil and vanilla. Whisk all the ingredients until well combined.
  4. Add coffee and mix well until you get a smooth and thin mixture.
  5. Pour batter into the pan and bake it for 35-40 minutes.
  6. Take the pan out of the oven and your One Bowl Chocolate Cake is ready.
  7. Let the cake cool down before slicing.

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350º F. Prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan by greasing it.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the oil and maple syrup together with a whisk. Add the eggs to this mixture and beat well, then whisk in the mashed bananas and milk.
  3. Add the baking soda, vanilla, salt, moringa and cinnamon, and whisk. Lastly, stir in the flour, just until combined.
  4. Pour the batter into your greased loaf pan and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.
  5. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the bread cool in the loaf pan for at least 10 minutes. Transfer the loaf to a wire rack. Cool before slicing.

ONE BOWL BROWNIES

If you want to make healthy yet delicious one bowl brownies, you have come to the right place. Our One Bowl Brownie recipe is perfect if you are craving rich and fudgy brownies. Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted and cooled slightly
  • 2 large egg whites, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon moringa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup nonfat Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup coconut sugar
  • 6 tablespoon nonfat milk
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ cup whole wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoon finely chopped dark chocolate

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F. Take an 8” square baking pan and lightly coat it with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the butter, egg whites, vanilla and salt. Then add Greek yogurt and keep mixing until there are no lumps. Stir in the coconut sugar. Then add milk and stir.
  3. Add in the cocoa powder, moringa powder and baking powder and stir. Then, stir in the flour until it’s incorporated. Gently fold in 2 ½ tablespoons of the chopped dark chocolate.
  4. Spread the batter into the prepared pan, and gently press the remaining chopped dark chocolate into the top. Bake these one bowl brownies at 300°F for 15-19 minutes.
  5. Cool completely to room temperature in the pan, and let the brownies sit for at least 6 hours at room temperature before serving.
