  • 1½ cup coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Moringa Oleifera powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips
  • Whipping cream
  • Mini marshmallows (optional)

Directions:

In a saucepan, heat milk to scalding. Whisk in cocoa powder, moringa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract and salt. Add chocolate chips and wait for them to melt. Stir well. Pour into heart-shaped cups and top off with a dollop of whipped cream. Use marshmallows to garnish. Serve hot and relish this green Valentine’s Day staple.

Moringa Hearty Double Cheese Spaghetti

A quick and mouth-watering show-stopper for a green Valentine's Day, this double cheesy spaghetti is a classic cheese and pepper pasta. You can even toss in your favorite veggies or meatballs to give it a more healthful and personal touch.

Ingredients:

  • 230 gm whole-wheat spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp margarine, divided
  • Ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Moringa Oleifera powder
  • ¾ cup Asiago grated Italian cheese, plus more for garnish
  • ¾ cup grated fresh parmesan, plus more for garnish

Directions:

Cook the pasta until al dente. Drain the pasta and reserve about ⅔ cup pasta water. In a skillet, melt 1 tbsp margarine and add oil followed by black pepper. Mix for a minute and add the pasta water. Add the remaining butter and toss the pasta into the mixture. Add both the moringa powder and the cheeses. Stir them well until the pasta becomes cheesy and the consistency is as desired.

Moringa Cozy Chia Seed Pudding

A creamy, heavenly dessert topped with fresh strawberries and loaded with fibers, protein and healthy fats to make your Valentine's Day super nutritious. 

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 chopped strawberry
  • 1 scoop Moringa Oleifera powder

Direction:

Add chia seeds, almond milk, cinnamon, moringa powder in a bowl and stir well. Let the mix sit for 10-15 minutes until the consistency becomes thick. Take a medium-sized bowl and create a bottom layer of half-sliced banana. Add half of the chia seed mix. Create another layer of chopped banana. Pour in the rest of the chia seed mix. Decorate the top layer with more sliced bananas and finely chopped strawberries. Enjoy this green Valentine's Day special.
