Ingredients

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries
  • ½ cup spinach
  • ¼ cup milk of choice
  • 1 scoop moringa powder
  • 1 tbsp honey

Directions

Add all the above ingredients into the blender one by one. Blend until the consistency becomes thick. Pour into the glass and enjoy this nutrient-rich, healthy recipe.

Moringa Pesto Pasta

A healthy homemade pesto sauce for a tasty pasta dish that your whole family will relish on St. Patrick’s Day.

Ingredients

  • ⅛ c fresh basil leaves
  • ½ tsp moringa powder
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • ½ tbsp roasted chopped almonds
  • 2 tbsp finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Dash of salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 3 cups fusilli pasta (300 gms)

Directions

For the pesto: Add basil, moringa, garlic, almonds, lemon zest, salt, and pepper into a blender or a food processor and blend to a paste. Put in cheese while drizzling the oil.

For the pasta: Bring eight glasses of water to a boil on a medium to high flame. Add salt as required. When water comes to a boil, add 3 cups of fusilli pasta. Cook the pasta until it is entirely done. Drain it well into a bowl. Add the homemade pesto and mix it well.

Moringa Chocolate Banana Bread

A delicious and crowd-pleasing banana bread for St. Patrick’s Day that requires minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 3 overripe bananas
  • 2 small size eggs
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup softened butter
  • ⅓ cup milk of choice
  • 1 cup coconut flour
  • ⅓ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp moringa powder
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • Walnut (optional)

Directions

Pour the first six ingredients into a bowl. Whisk them well. Take another bowl and put in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and moringa powder. Whisk to combine. Add the dry mixture into the wet mix and beat until the consistency is thick. Add the dark chocolate chips and mix until smooth. Pour it into an oil greased pan and sprinkle some walnuts on top. Bake the bread in a preheated oven -350F for one hour. Enjoy this St. Patrick’s Day recipe.
