MORINGA MINT ICED TEA

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1-2 tsp moringa powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp honey, or any sweetener of your choice
  • 1/4 tsp rock salt
  • 7-8 ice cubes

Directions:

  • Add mint leaves and water in a blender. Mix till the leaves are crushed completely and have blended well with the water.
  • Strain the mint water.
  • Add moringa powder, honey, lemon juice and salt.
  • Mix well to blend the powder with the water.
  • Refrigerate for a couple of hours or add ice-cubes and serve immediately.

MORINGA ICED TEA WITH BASIL AND LEMON

Ingredients:

  • Moringa tea leaves or powder
  • 1 lemon
  • Handful of fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tsp honey, or sweetener of choice
  • Ice cubes

Directions

  • Boil some water and make moringa tea. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
  • Keep the freshly brewed tea separately and let it cool.
  • Add a layer of ice to your glass. Then add some sliced lemons and basil leaves.
  • Pour in the cooled moringa tea.
  • Add some more sliced lemons and basil leaves.
  • Add more ice (optional) and serve chilled.

MORINGA, ORANGE AND ROSEMARY ICED TEA

Ingredients:

  • Moringa tea leaves or powder
  • ½ tbsp orange zest
  • 1-2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 1 tsp of honey, or sweetener of choice

Directions:

  • Boil water and make moringa tea. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
  • Keep the freshly brewed tea separately and let it cool.
  • In a pitcher add one cup of moringa tea, the rosemary, orange zest and sweetener.
  • Add one more cup of hot water.
  • Let the tea steep in the orange zest and rosemary.
  • Strain the tea to remove rosemary and orange zest.
  • Refrigerate it for a couple of hours. Serve chilled.

MORINGA, PEACH AND GINGER ICED TEA

Ingredients:

  • Moringa tea leaves or powder
  • 1 sliced peach
  • Grated or sliced ginger (as per taste)
  • 1 tsp of honey, or sweetener of choice

Directions:

  • Boil water and make moringa tea. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
  • Keep the freshly brewed tea separately and let it cool.
  • In a pitcher add one cup of moringa tea, pitted and sliced peach, ginger and sweetener.
  • Add one more cup of hot water.
  • Let the tea steep in the peach and ginger.
  • Strain the tea to remove the peach and ginger remnants.
  • Refrigerate it for a couple of hours. Serve chilled.
