How To Heal Your Gut Naturally

Struggling with constipation, indigestion or diarrhea? Here are some natural solutions.

Our gastrointestinal tract is a complex body part that can become affected by a number of factors such as stress, diet and even sleep. More than 100 million outpatient care visits in the USA are made due to digestive diseases. In a survey of 71,812 people, 61 percent reported suffering from gastrointestinal disturbances such as stomach influx, abdominal pain and bowel incontinence. If you’re suffering from gastrointestinal issues then here are some remedies that will teach you how to heal your gut naturally.

Include moringa in your diet

One of the best ingredients that is useful in maintaining a good digestive system is moringa. It is a drought-resistant tree that grows in Asia and Africa. With 92 types of nutrients and 46 antioxidants, moringa is among the most nutrient-rich plants in the world.

Our digestive health is dependent on several things and one of them is the presence of healthy bacteria, archaea and fungi that reside in one’s gut. These microorganisms are highly sensitive and do not respond well to strong drugs and processed food because they cause inflammation. This ends up destroying the microbes, but luckily moringa’s anti-inflammatory compounds may soothe acidity and keep gut microbiota undisturbed. The high amount of vitamin B in moringa may aid digestion and may help in treating constipation and ulcerative colitis. Since moringa has a low-fat content and no harmful cholesterol, it’s great for those who have heart diseases. You can include moringa in your diet by having moringa tea, eating its mature seeds as snacks or taking it in a supplement form either as a powder or a tablet.

Ensure sufficient hydration

Proper hydration is necessary for enabling fast digestion and smooth functioning of your kidneys. Having liquids in your meals may have a beneficial impact on the mucosal lining of your stomach and intestines.  You should drink at least two liters of water throughout the day.

Lower your stress levels, get enough sleep

Stress hormones, like cortisol and epinephrine, slow down the digestive glands. This in turn directly upsets the digestive system. Additionally, stress and lack of rest may cause gastroesophageal reflux disease. A study on sleep physiology found that, “gut microbiome diversity was positively correlated with sleep efficiency”.  These revelations show a link between mental health, sleep, and gut health. Therefore, you should get seven to eight hours of sleep and avoid stress to heal your gut naturally.

Eat fermented and high-fiber food

High fiber and fermented foods may help ease digestion and help in building strong colon cells. These foods prevent acidity and bloating. If you are suffering from irregular bowel movements then you should add oats, leafy vegetables, yogurt and kimchi to your meals.
It is always recommended to speak to your Doctor or nutritionist before making changes to your regular diet.

Miracle Tree® products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.  While there is promising research currently evaluating moringa and other similar products, we rather focus on their nutritional qualities.
