Moringa tea is an infusion made from the dried leaves of the moringa tree (Moringa oleifera). It is a herbal infusion, not a true tea: there is no tea plant (Camellia sinensis) in it, which is why pure moringa leaf is naturally caffeine-free.

No. Green tea and matcha come from the tea plant; moringa comes from a different tree entirely. They share a green, vegetal taste, but moringa is lighter, with none of matcha's thickness, and pure moringa contains no caffeine.

Yes. Moringa leaf is a food, and daily use is ordinary. If you are pregnant, nursing or take prescription medication, please check with your healthcare provider first.

Steep one bag for 3 to 5 minutes in water just off the boil. For Green Tea Moringa, use cooler water, about 175°F (80°C), for 2 to 3 minutes. For iced tea, brew at double strength and pour over ice. Longer steeps taste more earthy.

It should not be. Bitterness usually means the water was too hot or the bag steeped too long. Try a shorter steep.
